Gallipoli Tours

The ease and comfort with which the whole six day tour of destinations within Turkey was organised for us by Mr Mustafa. From India itself Mr Mustafa was very prompt on the email and whatsapp. The tour details were all organised by him, and we were fully dependent on him.
The hotels that he had booked for us were very satisfactory, the transport details were very punctual, in very comfortable vehicles, and in small groups.
And during the tour he was ready to receive our calls and solve our problems even late at night!
We did compare with other tourists about the prices and the hotels they were accommodated in. We did seem to have gotten the best deals in terms of transport, guides and hotels which were within or close to the cities.
Some of the meals were Turkish regional food, in way of places.
Yes maybe more local food would probably have been better, even if lesser in number of items.

It was a wonderfull trip for us even by long bus journey, as soon as we leave from istanbul;we had a Breakfest break in a good restaurant with Garden.We had an informative tour guide about area and attractions . We spent quite a bit of time before travelling to Turkey trying to arrange a three day trip to Gallipoli, Troy, Pergamum, & Ephesus. There are literally hundreds of tour agencies selling (almost) similar packages at a (confusingly) wide range of prices. Of all those we contacted, only Mr Cefiz was prompt in his responses and actually addressed our specific questions/concerns. Crucially, Mr Cefiz was the only agent who was willing to allow us to pay the full cost of the tour upon our arrival to Istanbul (no one accepts PayPal and everyone else demands a wire transfer). Mr Cefiz is honest and reliable...everything on our trip was as advertised and went off without a hitch. He also allowed us to substitute the standard Çannakale and Kusadasi hotels with much better hotels of our own choosing at no additional cost. Be advised that all of these tours are massively overpriced when you price out the individual components on your own, but the convenience of intra-Gallipoli and other transportation aspects makes the package worthwhile if you don't feel like dealing with the hassle of a rental car. Thanks to Mr Mustafa Ceviz we had a fabulous tour of these sites and others near Ephesus. The tour is well thought out with connections for all transportation, fine hotels which included enormous breakfasts and excellent guides at each location. Turkey is absolutely beautiful and must be seen beyond Istanbul and other cities. The price included everything but dinners. The many hours bus ride from Canakkale to Kusadasi gave us an opportunity to enjoy the wonderful scenery of mountains, olive groves, fields full of produce with people working in them and of course the beautiful Aegean Sea. We also did not need to argue with each other about which way to turn; we took naps and just generally enjoyed ourselves. Mr Ceviz came immediately to our hotel in Istanbul upon our return to resolve a small issue. We had a limited time to visit Turkey in early November, and decided to use Mr Mustafa Ceviz to arrange our Gallipoli and Troy tour. We did everything by email, and found the service generally prompt and efficient. Our guides to both Gallipoli and Troy were excellent, with very good English skills, and an obvious passion for their subject that brought the history to life for us. We went on a 6-day tour around Turkey operated by Mustafa Ceviz. It's important to know that Mustafa organizes the tour through partners in different cities. As an operator, we give Mustafa 5 stars! He was always available whenever we had problems early in the morning or late at night. He would reply fast (within 10-30 minutes) during the tour. For some e-mails though, follow-up was needed. When we encountered problems such as a broken AC unit, the organizer did not want to change our van but Mustafa called and sorted it out. He provided us all that was in the tour itinerary we paid for (hot air balloon, swimming, tours etc). The only mishaps on our trip were caused by partners fault but again were fixed with his help. Maybe point of improvement is to ensure quality of partners. If you are going on a trip to Turkey, I suggest that you book with Mustafa. However, research on the best hotel option (pay extra if you want nicer accommodations). Also, try to specify in advance the type of tour guide you want, if any. We had some tour guides who explained little. In general though, all were very nice and informative. The tour was awesome, thanks to Mr. Mustafa Ceviz from The Land of Civilizations Travel for the organized 6-day trip. Me and my friend are very satisfied and wish to come back to visit other tourist spots in Turkey. 3 day trip to Gallipoli Troy and Ephesus. We traveled with Land of Civilisation ... Mustafa Ceviz was our organiser. he did a good job. It was a great trip, very well organised. Day one we went to Gallipoli. If you interesed in world war 1 stories this is must. We traveled with the New Zelanders and the Aussies. It was really their story. The bus was modern with air con and Wi fi. Excellent guide. Told the story with passion and enthusiasm. Day 2 we did Troy and Pergamus ( an old roman settlement near the modern city of Bergama. ) Troy was a disappointment . Not much to see. Excavations poor. The guide balmed a German called Shuman for wrecking the place back in the 1920's. They didn't do a whole pile to improve it over the last 100 years. Forget about the Brad Pitt film. It's nothing like that. The old site is now 6Km from the sea. Guide just ok. Pergamus was good. Enthusiastic guide and very knowledgeable and excellent english. Day 3 we did Ephusus. This was really worth seeing. Felt the hand of history extending from every corner. Walked the cobble stones where the greats of history came and went. St Paul and St John did their thing here. Anthony and Cleo lived here for 3 years. Great emperors of Rome visited and built templesto themselves. Very well preserved. Our guide was adequate but not outstanding. Mustafa arranged the hotels along the way. Decent accomodation. We were fed along the way . We changed buses a few times. Our luggage was moved for us. Nothing got lost. Package was reasonably priced.. 2 nights hotel, foods twice a day, entry tickets, guides and transport.. 280euro per head. We had it a bit cheaper because we didn't return to Istanbul.
